Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site leadership when needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including common areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter areas, to help identify unusual activity and/or unsecured conditions. Monitor access to the location by checking credentials, assisting with visitor entry procedures, and/or helping to enforce site rules and expectations in a professional manner. Support a respectful environment within the shelter setting by providing directions, de-escalating tense situations when possible, and communicating clearly with residents, staff, and/or first responders. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
