HD Supply (a subsidiary of The Home Depot) is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Delivery Assistant to support our delivery drivers in safely and accurately delivering customer orders. In this role, you will assist with loading and unloading product, communicate directly with customers, and help ensure all safety procedures are followed. This position does not require or allow driving a company or rental vehicle. What You’ll Do:Partner with delivery drivers to ensure safe, accurate, and timely delivery of customer orders.Inspect orders before loading to confirm accuracy and check for damage.Assist with loading and unloading merchandise using powered and non-powered material handling equipment.Contact customers before and during deliveries to provide updates.Interact professionally with customers, including obtaining proof of delivery.Resolve basic customer service issues and escalate concerns to distribution center leadership as needed.Provide exceptional customer service by being courteous and professional at all times.Perform general warehouse and support duties as assigned. What We’re Looking For:Ability to follow clearly defined processes, procedures, and safety guidelines.Willingness to work under close supervision and ask for guidance when needed.Strong attention to detail and customer service mindset.Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED.0–2 years of relevant experience.Ability to safely operate material handling equipment (training provided).
